Ultra High Performance Glass Fibre Reinforced Cemetitious Facade Panels
Ultra High Performance Glass Fibre Reinforced Cemetitious Facade Panels
Manufacture aesthetically unique & customizable UHPC Cladding panels. Our panels are available in 2 textures/surfaces & 2 standard colours. ViviD UHPC panels are extremely high strength, being resistant to UV light, acid rain, freeze thaw, impact & mold & mildew.
Our proprietary matrix formulation provides unbeatable performance characteristics.
Ultra-high performance glass fibre reinforced concrete (UHPGFRC) is a class of concrete that combines together many of the recent advances in concrete science to create a material with far superior properties. UHPGFRC is far less likely to degrade due to freeze-thaw cycles or corrosion than GFRC or typical UHPC
UHPGFRC is structurally more comparable to steel than traditional concrete. As a result, far less material (-90%) is needed to achieve the same application & appearance as typical concrete panels. This leads to much less substructure - resulting in many benefits on construction sites including lower transportation and installation costs both environmentally & financially. Additionally it only will absorb 2.5% of moisture, unlike fibre cement, GFRC or typical UHPC panels that absorb as much as 40 percent moisture, meaning that it is almost impossible for ViviD panels to degrade, moreover they hold more than their own in demanding freeze/thaw or marine conditions.
Competitve products such as European GFRC and fibre cement will degrade over a short period of time, particularly in freeze thaw conditions due to spalling, cracking, and water & chloride migration through capillary pores to the substruction within wall assemblies.
Our UHPC Cladding facade panels are designed for the harsh Canadian Arctic climate where they excel in their performance.
Our formulation consists of carefully calibrated, extremely small particles packed very tightly together in a specific sequence, to produce strong molecular bonds that result not only in exceptionally high flexural strengths - but it also virtually eliminating the chloride migration and water suction that cause freeze-thaw degradation and corrosion in competitive products.
We can show you projects still clad in our panel from 1987
